There are many sorts of unwanted software. Some programs just do harm to your files and your system, some just show ads, and some programs can’t do anything before you allow them. Today we will talk about an unwanted browser extension, called EasyChrome, which shows ads in browser. The description of this program states that it helps to “read and change all your data on the websites you visit”. It’s the pretty blurry description, isn’t it? It only looks helpful, but if you will think for a while, you’ll understand that this extension never meant to perform the useful tasks, and was created for some other purposes.

Ads may be different, and some of them are even helpful, but EasyChrome displays them in most inconvenient and intrusive way: in the center of the screen. This is done to make sure that user will see an ad, will try to remove it from the screen and, possible, will click on it. Web-swindlers often use suchlike extensions combined with browser hijackers and this particular extension is being distributed with Qtipr.com adware.

This means that if you see EasyChrome in your browser – you have an adware somewhere on your PC, and it should be removed as soon as possible. Luckily, we already have decent instructions for Qtipr adware deletion, as well as for EasyChrome removal from Google Chrome browser. All needed information can be found in our article about how to remove Qtipr.com easily.

Adware, such as Qtipr, isn’t really dangerous for the system, but the mere fact that this program got on your PC should alert you. This adware might be only the top of iceberg, and if you will scan your system with proper antiviral tool – you will see more vulnerabilities and threats. Don’t waste time, and remove all unwanted programs from your system immediately after you detect them, to ensure the safety of your PC and the data stored on it.
